Love this app its actually helping me sleep
Sleepio is a great tool to help you learn about healthy sleep and getting a better nights rest. If youre struggling with sleepless nights, the Professor will help if youre willing to put in the work. The app also works with other apps and fitness tools, such as the UP band, making it easier to track your sleep. Ive been extremely happy with the app and my improving sleep.
It is nice and helpful app about sleeping habits and information
This app is extremely well done!
I really was excited about this app and how personalized it was. Today, however, I got a notification saying that my access was going to expire in three days unless I paid for a 1 week subscription (~12$) or a 12 week subscription (~90$). If they had been upfront about this before I downloaded it, it might have been okay. But to waste my time filling out sleep diaries every day just to find this out was really disappointing. Its a shame really. Wouldve been happier if they were charging from the start rather than after I was optimistic about getting help for my insomnia. The prof is really great, but not good enough to get my money
after keeping a sleep log for a week as instructed the feedback kept repeating that i should avoid caffeine even though i never consume caffeine. whats the point of inputting data if the app isnt going to use it to "tailor a sleep program for me"? the layout/design for the app is very cool though.
Takes forever to load.... I almost fell asleep waiting!
I only wish to have a French version !!
Im a lazy man. I dont have enegy to input info after i woke up every single day. It would be better if we can just tap a "im going to sleep now" button and after we woke up tap a "im awake now" button. Im triying to use this app for 5 day and tired of the manuel input. Waiting a update to use it easier
But it seems that it doesnt upload sleep data to iOS health app. Fix it pls.
Very nice app, love the design and love many of the features. But whats the point if it doesnt have an alarm clock integrated? If I have to input all the data Im never going to rembember at what point I got up this morning etc. With an alarm clock it would be perfect.
I tried to connect to my Jawbone UP but appare this message: { "meta": { "message": "Internal Server Error" }, "data": null }
Overall: While I learned a few useful concepts, I am not overly impressed. I dont feel this course is worth ~$90. If it were ~$40 that would be about right for the content and functionality. Positives: – I learned a few techniques and concepts about sleep that are useful. - Sleep tracker is fun to enter daily. - The email notifications on daily tasks was helpful (though a reminder in my calendar could do the same). - I am somewhat “improved” but nothing that isnt normal for long term insomniacs -- we tend to have cycles where it gets worse and then better. Negatives: – The sleep tracker is basic, but gets the job done. For example, I didnt see a view of the entire sleep diary, its just a 7 day chart. Perhaps I just didnt see this? - The lessons are short and not customized to what the sleep diary discloses. - I believe the sleep restriction therapy was not calculated properly for me (and for a few others Ive posting here). I guess this is good since it makes it easier to do, though not as effective as the true approach. It also seems to just wait for 2 weeks regardless of your sleep efficiency before giving you another 15 minutes of sleep as I never got above 90%. - They use the data we enter for other purposes yet we pay $90 to participate in their research. Sleepio should be much much cheaper than this fee. I should have listened to the reviews on iTunes that stated this fact. - The lessons are short and could have been done in less time that 6 weeks. Feels like they draw them out to make it seem like the course is “longer” (see next point especially). - The last lesson was to collect outcomes data for their benefit. This should not have even been called a session as no new techniques or information was presented.
It was a wonderful app and in the first week of using the app I got an extra hour of sleep. That is, until it asked for 80 dollars to continue! I cant pay for it and the Prof will have to go. Change the price and Ill reconsider.
I think this app is great it is very helpful with establishing sleep habits. I wish there were sessions more frequently though. But over all I recommend it
This is by far my favorite app ever!! This app has really helped me get in to a great sleeping routine. Really the only thing I think they could change is maybe sending alerts about when is a good time to get ready for bed. But other than that I think this app is FANTASTIC!!
After about a week or two you have to pay. Not worth it.
This app actually helped me sleep something about the professor tht actually get me to sleep & Im someone who has had insomnia for over 10 years so this worked however after the couple weeks I was told it expired and to continue I could either pay $9.99 or 79 bucks I believe so its very disappointing
I liked the app, but it seems like it just quit working. Unlike reviews from others, there wasnt even a message about paying to continue. It just says session in progress and nothing ever changes.
I got this to help monitor my sleeping patterns and it was great for a week or 2 then they want you to pay $9.99 a week or $79 for 12 weeks. Ahh NO THANK YOU!! All they want is your money!!!
